Entre Renaissance et Baroque, la musique vocale et instrumentale de l’un des disciples
préférés de Monteverdi, Salomone Rossi « le Juif ». La démarche inusitée d’un musicien, né à Mantoue, cherchant à concilier tradition musicale hébraïque et nouveauté
esthétique de l’époque, sous la tutelle de son maître. Parallèlement aux Sinfonie et
Gagliarde qui s’inspirent des principes en cours de la musique vocale, différents échos
de madrigaux, psaumes et cantiques puisant aux sources de la Bible. La restitution en
hébreu des Chants sacrés de Salomon, par les meilleurs spécialistes de ce répertoire
illustrant l’influence directe de Monteverdi sur la nouvelle musique judéo baroque.

Die Musik-Akademie Basel ist eine Hochburg der Improvisation, sowohl was die freie Improvisation der Hochschule anbelangt, wie auch die epochenbezogene der Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. Rudolf Lutz ist seit 1991 Dozent an dieser Fakultät und unterrichtet sowohl die Basis- wie auch die Masterstufe der Historischen Improvisation. Dieses Jahr sind gleich zwei Studierende der Masterklasse zu Gast im Forum für Alte Musik, welche zusammen mit Rudolf Lutz ihr improvisatorisches Können unter Beweis stellen werden. Es ist dies die Traversflötistin Anne Freitag, welche 2011 den begehrten ersten Preis in Brügge erhielt, sowie der japanische Lauten- und Gambenspieler, Ryosuke Sakamoto, welcher seit seiner Kindheit improvisiert und konzertiert und in zahlreichen Ensembles als Lautenist tätig ist. Über das Programm kann kaum mehr gesagt werden, als dass es sich um eine improvisatorische Spurensuche handeln wird, hoffentlich eine abwechslungsreiche und bereichernde!
